The PROMIS Recovery Centre

The PROMIS Recovery Centre is a large Victorian house with its coach house, set in three acres of grounds with landscaped gardens and trees surrounded by the rolling farmland and woodland of the North Downs of Kent. The setting offers the peace and tranquility in which to effect successful recovery. It has the capacity to house 43 patients on an in-patient basis, we also have several halfway houses in the nearby village for day/out patient care so the patient can start to adjust to everyday living.

PROMIS believes that your surroundings have an impact on the quality of recovery, being relaxed and having time in the right atmosphere to think in is incredibly important.

There are ample facilities for therapy sessions and for lectures and other educational programmes. Leisure activities currently include use of a small gymnasium and there is also a non-denominational quiet room. There is a grass tennis court and an all-weather tennis/basketball court, volleyball court, cricket net and badminton court, spa pools, 5 a side football, croquet, and fieldtrips to surrounding places of interest.
