Traumatic Stress Clinic

The Traumatic Stress Clinic was established by the Department of Health as a National Centre for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and helps adults who are experiencing stress reactions as a result of either being involved in, or being witness to, a major traumatic event. A multi-professional service including Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and Family Therapists is offered.

The Clinic has produced a booklet on Psychological Reactions to Trauma which describes reactions to traumatic stress, ways to cope and suggested reading. For further advice on referral, please contact the administrative team at the Clinic.
